Crispy Lunch Pickles(Bread And Butter Type) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    25 to 30 medium cucumbers
    2 large sweet pickles
    5 c. cider vinegar
    5 c. sugar
    1 tsp. turmeric
    8 large white onions
    1/2 c. salt
    2 Tbsp. mustard seed
    1/2 tsp. cloves
Preparation
    Wash cucumbers and slice thin.
    Chop onions and peppers and combine with cucumbers.
    Add salt and let stand 3 hours, stirring occasionally; drain.
