Snickernoodles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. soft shortening
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 3/4 c. flour
    2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Mix first 3 ingredients together thoroughly.
    Sift together remaining ingredients and stir into mixture.
    Chill dough.
    Roll into balls the size of small walnuts.
    Roll in mixture of 2 tablespoons sugar and 2 teaspoons cinnamon.
    Place about 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheet.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 until lightly browned, but still soft.
    Makes 5 dozen.
