Ice Cream Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (16 oz.) pkg. Oreo cookies, crushed
    3/4 c. melted margarine
    1/2 gal. vanilla ice cream, softened
    1 1/2 c. chocolate syrup
    1/2 c. margarine
    1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk (Eagle Brand)
    1 c. pecans
Preparation
    Combine cookie crumbs and 3/4 cup melted margarine in bowl. Mix well.
    Press into 9 x 13-inch glass dish.
    Spread softened ice cream over cookie crust.
    Freeze until firm.
    Bring chocolate syrup, margarine and condensed milk to a boil in saucepan, stirring frequently.
    Cool to room temperature.
    Pour over ice cream layer; sprinkle with pecans.
    Freeze until serving time. Yields 12 servings.
