Russian Tea Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. soft butter
    1/2 c. powdered sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 1/4 c. flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. finely chopped nuts
    powdered sugar, in bowl
Preparation
    Mix butter, sugar and vanilla.
    Sift flour and salt and stir in.
    Add nuts and mix well.
    Chill dough for at least 30 minutes; roll into 1-inch balls.
    Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 400\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
    Roll in powdered sugar, then roll in powdered sugar again.
    Yields 4 dozen.
