Prune Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 c. cooking oil
2 c. flour
1 c. buttermilk or 3/4 c. milk and 1/4 c. vinegar
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cloves
3 tsp. soda
2 large jars junior baby prunes
1 c. chopped nuts
1/2 c. raisins
Preparation

Place sugar, eggs and oil in large bowl and mix with electric beater.
Add alternatively flour, buttermilk, nutmeg, cinnamon, salt, cloves and soda.
Mix well.
Add prunes, nuts and raisins. Mix well.
Pour batter into an ungreased tube pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
Cool in pan.
Freezes well.
Serve with Cool Whip, whipping cream or 4x sugar sprinkled on top.
