Cheese Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. sharp cheese, grated
    1/2 lb. oleo or butter
    2 1/2 c. flour (plain)
    1/2 tsp. red pepper
    1/2 tsp. paprika
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 to 1 c. chopped pecans (optional)
    extra pecan halves (optional)
Preparation
    Cream butter and cheese.
    Add salt, pepper, paprika and flour, a little at a time.
    Roll thin.
    Cut and bake in moderate oven for 15 or 20 minutes.
    For extra goodness, add 1/2 to 1 cup chopped pecans.
    Top each biscuit with pecan half before baking.
