Cherry Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. Crisco
    1 stick margarine
    3 c. sugar
    6 eggs
    3 3/4 c. plain flour
    3/4 c. milk
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. almond flavoring
    1/2 (10 oz.) bottle maraschino cherries, chopped
Preparation
    Cream the margarine and sugar.
    Add eggs, one at a time.
    Mix well.
    Add vanilla and almond flavoring.
    Add flour and milk alternately.
    Fold in cherries.
    Bake in greased and floured large tube pan.
    Put in cold oven.
    Set temperature at 275\u00b0 and bake for 2 hours.
