Theresa Mihalyi'S Peanut Butter Balls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. chunky peanut butter
1 cube softened margarine or butter
2 c. powdered sugar
6 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips
2 tsp. shortening
1/4 bar paraffin wax
Preparation

Mix together the peanut butter, margarine and sugar.
Form into 1-inch balls.
Place on cookie sheet lined with waxed paper and freeze until firm.
Melt together chocolate chips, shortening and paraffin.
Dip frozen balls into melted chips.
Let stand until chocolate is set.
(I put them back in the freezer; they set faster.)
Store in a container in layers between waxed paper. They will keep longer in the freezer than at room temperature.
