Twinkie Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box yellow cake mix
    5 Tbsp. flour
    1 c. milk
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 stick butter
Preparation
    Bake cake according to directions in a 9 x 13-inch cake pan. Let cool. Remove from pan.
    Let it cool completely.
    Split into two layers with a thread.
    While cake is cooling, combine the 5 tablespoons flour and
    milk.
    Boil until thick. Stir constantly. Let cool. Combine sugar, milk, salt, shortening and butter with mixer for 15 minutes. Add flour and beat 3 more minutes. Spread on one layer.
    Add top. Cut into pieces.
