Stuffed Peppers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 large peppers
    1/2 c. brown rice
    1/4 c. wheat germ
    1 can tomato soup, undiluted
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 lb. ground beef
    1/4 c. bran
    2 Tbsp. oregano
    catsup
Preparation
    Cook rice according to package directions.
    Core peppers; cut in halves and remove seed.
    Cook in boiling water for 10 minutes. Drain.
    Brown beef and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
    Combine rice and beef.
    Add bran, wheat germ, soup and oregano.
    Place peppers in large baking dish.
    Place some of the meat mixture in each pepper half.
    Top each with a dab of catsup.
    Put 1/2-inch water in bottom of baking dish.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 30 minutes.
