Broccoli And Cheese Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. chicken broth
    1/4 tsp. baking soa
    1 1/2 c. sharp cheese, cubed
    3 pkg. frozen broccoli, thawed
    3/4 c. diced onion
    3/4 c. shredded carrot
    3/4 c. diced celery
    1/4 c. plus 1/8 c. flour
    6 c milk
    1/4 c. plus 1/8 c. melted margarine
    1 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
Preparation
    Saute carrots, onion and celery in margarine.
    Add flour and cornstarch and cook 1 minute.
    Slowly add milk and chicken broth, cook until thick.
    Stir in baking soda and cheese until melted. Add broccoli and simmer for one hour.
