Feather Sponge Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 eggs (separate out yolks)
    1/2 c. water
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. orange or lemon extract
    1 1/2 c. cake flour or 1 1/4 c. regular flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    3/4 tsp. cream of tartar
Preparation
    Beat egg yolks until thick and lemon colored.
    Add water; continue beating until very thick.
    Gradually beat in sugar; add vanilla and extract.
    Fold in flour that has been sifted with salt, adding a little at a time.
    Beat egg whites until foamy.
    Add cream of tartar and beat until forms glossy peaks.
    Fold into batter. Pour into ungreased angel food cake pan.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour. Frost with Butter Frosting.
