Feather Bed Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. yeast
    2 1/2 c. milk
    2 tsp. sugar
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 tsp. salt
    5 c. flour
Preparation
    Scald the milk; remove from stove and add shortening and sugar.
    When cool, add yeast which has been dissolved in a little water.
    Then add flour and salt.
    Beat until smooth.
    Let rise to double in bulk.
    Beat again.
