Rice-Broccoli Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 pkg. frozen chopped broccoli
1 stick margarine
1 c. chopped onion (large)
1 c. cream of mushroom soup
1/2 c. milk
1 c. raw rice
1 1/2 c. sharp Cheddar cheese
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation

Cook broccoli slightly.
Do not overcook.
Saute onion in margarine.
Cook rice in 2 cups water.
Drain broccoli.
Combine all ingredients, saving small amount of cheese for top of casserole.
Put in greased casserole and sprinkle with remainder of cheese.
Bake uncovered at 325\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
Can be made a day ahead.
Also freezes well.
Allow extra 15 minutes cooking time if casserole has been refrigerated.
