Jean'S Carrot Cake - cooking recipe

3 c. sifted cake flour
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 (8 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drain and reserve liquid
3 eggs beaten
3/4 c. cooking oil
3/4 c. buttermilk
2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 chopped walnuts or pecans
2 c. grated carrots

(If using self-rising flour, omit baking powder & salt.)
