Frosted Creams - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. shortening
    1/2 c. sour cream
    1/2 c. molasses
    2 c. flour
    1 egg
    1/2 tsp. ginger
    1/2 cinnamon
    1 tsp. soda dissolved in 1/4 c. hot water
Preparation
    Combine ingredients and bake at 350\u00b0 in a shallow pan for 20 minutes.
    When cool, frost with a powdered sugar frosting.
    Cut into squares.
    Yields 24.
