Lemon Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. butter, melted
1 scant confectioners sugar
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
6 Tbsp. lemon juice
2 c. plus 4 Tbsp. flour
4 eggs
confectioners sugar

Preparation

Combine butter, two cups of flour and 1 cup of confectioners sugar.
Pat into a buttered 9 x 13-inch pan and bake 20 minutes at 350\u00b0.
Beat together eggs, sugar, baking powder, 4 tablespoons flour and lemon juice.
Pour over baked crust and bake 30 to 35 minutes.
Let cool.
Sprinkle with confectioners sugar.
Cut into squares.
