Wild Rice Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. wild rice, cooked 45 minutes in 1 1/2 c. water
    1/2 lb. bacon
    1/4 c. onion
    2 cans cream of potato soup
    1 qt. milk (2% may be used)
    2 1/2 c. grated American cheese
Preparation
    Fry the bacon and onion together.
    Some of the grease may be drained, if you prefer.
    Dilute both cans of potato soup with 1/2 cup of water and 1/2 cup milk.
    Add the bacon and onion; stir and then add milk and cheese.
    Stir until the cheese is melted.
