Fresh Peach Cobbler - cooking recipe

3/4 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
pinch of salt
2 c. sugar, divided
2 c. sliced peaches (8)
6 Tbsp. oleo
3/4 c. milk
Preparation

Melt
oleo
in\ta 2 quart baking dish.\tSift together 1 cup sugar,
flour, baking powder and salt.
Add milk and stir until mixed.
Pour
over\tbutter\tin
the baking dish; do not stir. Combine
peaches
and 1 cup sugar and spoon over batter in baking dish; do not stir.\tBake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour or less.
