Skiggie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 can tomatoes
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1/2 lb. elbow macaroni or small shell macaroni
    2 cloves garlic
    salt and pepper to taste
    1/2 head cabbage
Preparation
    Brown meat, onion and garlic in large cast-iron skillet. Drain excess grease.
    Add tomatoes, salt and pepper and simmer 15 minutes.
    Add cabbage.
    Cook until tender.
    Cover while cooking this mixture.
    This is a one-pan dinner.
    Cook macaroni according to directions.
    Add to pan and mix thoroughly.
    Serve while still hot.
