Green Pea Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (about 16 oz.) can green peas, gently rinsed and drained
    1 c. (4 oz.) finely diced cheddar cheese
    1 c. diced celery
    1/2 c. thinly sliced sweet pickles
    1 (2 oz.) jar pimento
    1/2 c. mayonnaise
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Combine peas, cheese, celery, pickles, pimento, mayonnaise, salt and pepper in medium size bowl.
    Toss lightly to coat evenly. Cover and refrigerate at least 2 hours.
