Centennial Vienna Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

8 c. flour
2 c. milk
1 c. water
2 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. sugar
3 level Tbsp. yeast
Preparation

Mix 3 cups flour, 1 cup milk and 1 cup water together to make loose batter.
Set aside for 45 minutes, then add 1 cup warm milk with the salt, sugar and yeast dissolved in it.
Add the rest of the flour at intervals.
Knead after each addition.
After flour is completely added, knead dough until elastic.
Place in a greased bowl and let rise for approximately 2 1/2 hours or until dough is doubled.
Butter hands.
Divide dough into 2 pieces.
Knead each piece slightly.
Place in 2 greased loaf pans.
Let rise in a warm place until dough is doubled again.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 30 minutes. Loaf will sound hollow when thumped.
