Rainbow Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. white cake mix
    1 c. boiling water
    2 c. Cool Whip
    1 pkg. red jello (3 oz.)
    1/2 c. cold water
Preparation
    Make cake; let cool 15 minutes.
    With large meat fork, poke holes at 1/2-inch intervals in the cake.
    Dissolve gelatin in boiling water; add cold water.
    Pour slowly over entire cake until all is used.
    Chill 3 to 4 hours.
    Frost with Cool Whip.
    Cut into squares and serve.
