Hungarian Cabbage Rolls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 lb. ground beef
1/2 lb. sausage
1/2 c. uncooked rice
1 egg
1 small onion
salt and pepper to taste
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1 large head cabbage
1 small can tomato juice
1 can sauerkraut
1 small onion
Preparation

Mix the first 7 ingredients; set aside.
Core cabbage and boil until leaves are tender.
Roll mixture in cabbage leaf (tuck in sides).
Layer cabbage rolls, sauerkraut and onion.
Cover with tomato juice.
Add enough water to cover rolls.
Cook for 3 1/2 hours on low heat.
