Hard Candy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. corn syrup
    1/2 c. water
    1/4 tsp. red food coloring
    1 tsp. oil of cinnamon
Preparation
    Combine sugar, water and syrup in pan.
    Cook, stirring, until sugar is dissolved.
    Cook to hard crack stage (300\u00b0) or until when dropped in water, you can break into pieces.
    Remove from heat; add food coloring and oil.
    Stir well and pour out on powdered sugar on cookie sheet.
