Cream Cheese Pound Cake - cooking recipe

3 c. sugar
6 large eggs
8 oz. cream cheese
1 tsp. vanilla (optional)
3 c. plain flour
3 sticks margarine (room temperature)
dash of salt
Preparation

Cream margarine, sugar and cream cheese. Add eggs, one at a time, and beat well. Add flour, salt and vanilla. Mix well. Pour into well-greased and floured tube pan and place in cold oven. Bake at 300\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours or until done.
