Doggie Donuts - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. wheat germ
1 c. cornmeal
1 c. rye, wheat or white flour
2 c. whole wheat flour
3 1/2 to 4 c. white flour
4 tsp. salt
1 egg
1 pkg. yeast
2 c. warm water
1 can condensed chicken broth
Preparation

Have you child mix the dry ingredients in a large bowl with their hands.
Add the egg, chicken broth and warm water.
Stir with a wooden spoon until a lump of dough forms.
You may have to take over at this point; the dough gets pretty stiff. Add more flour, if necessary, so the dough is not too sticky for little hands.
Flour the work area and roll dough to cut bones from or roll donuts.
Bake on a greased cookie sheet at 300\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
