Silver Palate Mocha Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. dark brown sugar
    2 c. unbleached white flour
    1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
    1 1/2 sticks unsalted butter
    2 eggs
    2 Tbsp. strong instant coffee
    2 Tbsp. vanilla
    1 Tbsp. hot water
    2 Tbsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Melt together brown sugar and butter.
    Dissolve coffee in water. Mix both together and cool to room temperature.
    Then add 2 eggs and vanilla. Beat together in a mixer.
    Sift together flour, baking powder and salt.
    Add to mixture.
    Stir in chocolate chips. Pour into greased 11 x 8-inch pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes until lightly browned. Cool completely.
