Caramel Corn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. unpopped yellow popcorn
    1 c. oleo or butter
    2 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. Karo syrup (light)
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Pop at least 5 qts. of popcorn. In sauce pan (at least 2 qt. size), melt oleo and add brown sugar, karo, and salt.
    Bring to a boil. Stir until it boils. Boil 5 minutes more without stirring. Remove from heat and add soda and vanilla. Pour over corn and stir. Put in oven for 1 hour at 250\u00b0. Stir every 15 minutes.
