Rice Krispies Treats - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/4 c. oleo
5 c. Rice Krispies cereal
10 oz. pkg. regular marshmallows or 4 c. miniature marshmallows

Preparation

Measure oleo in 3-quart pan.
Melt over low heat.
Add marshmallows and cook, stirring constantly, until marshmallows are melted and mixture is very syrupy.
Remove from heat.
Add Rice Krispies.
Stir until well-coated.
Spread warm mixture in buttered 9 x 13-inch pan.
Using buttered spatula, press firmly into even layer.
Cut in squares when cool.
