Fish Patties - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can mackerel, salmon or any kind of canned fish
    1 egg, beaten
    1 small onion, chopped
    1 c. cracker crumbs
    shortening or cooking oil (just enough to fry them)
Preparation
    Mix fish, egg, onion and cracker crumbs in a bowl.
    Heat the shortening or oil in a skillet.
    Spoon fish mixture in skillet, flattening each spoonful to a patty, and brown on both sides.
