Banana Nut Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/3 c. shortening
1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 3/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. mashed ripe bananas
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation

Place
shortening and sugar in bowl; beat for 1 minute. Stop and scrape bowl; beat an additional minute.
Add eggs and beat again.
Mix
flour,
baking
powder, soda and salt into a separate bowl.
Add
dry ingredients to creamed mixture.
Mix on low speed for 1 minute;
add bananas and nuts.\tMix for 30 seconds. Pour
mixture
into
greased and floured 9 1/2 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.
Bake\tat 350\u00b0 for 40 to 45 minutes.
Remove from pan and cool on rack.
