Irish Tea Bread(Cut And Come Again Cake) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. raisins
1 lb. currants (use a 2nd lb. raisins if you prefer)
3 c. brewed tea or beer
1 lb. brown sugar
3 to 4 c. flour
3 eggs, beaten
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. nutmeg
some candy peel or cherries (if desired)
Preparation

Place raisins, tea (or beer) and brown sugar in a large ceramic or glass bowl.
Mix; cover with cloth and let sit overnight at room temperature.
