Chicken Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 chicken, boiled with salt
    4 c. plain flour
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. Crisco
    1 1/2 c. water
Preparation
    Remove chicken from bone; set aside.
    Mix until mealy the flour, salt, Crisco and water, or until like biscuit dough. Knead well.
    Roll out real thin.
    Bring to boil broth chicken was cooked in.
    Drop dough into broth; drop enough to make thick but still soupy.
    Add chicken and black pepper to taste.
