Taco Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. lean ground beef or stewed chicken, chopped up
    1 large onion
    1 can pinto beans (do not drain)
    1 can kidney beans (do not drain)
    1 can (small) whole kernel corn
    1 pkg. taco seasoning mix
    1 pkg. Ranch style dressing mix
    1 can stewed tomatoes (large or two 2 lb. cans)
    1 can Ro-Tel tomatoes
    1 small can mild green chilies (add to taste)
    2 1/4 c. water or more (chicken broth if chicken meat is used)
    tortilla chips or jalapeno cornbread
Preparation
    Brown ground beef with 1 large onion or use chopped up, stewed chicken plus onion.
    Add beans, corn, taco seasoning mix, Ranch style dressing mix, stewed tomatoes, Ro-Tel tomatoes and green chilies.
    Add water or chicken broth if chicken meat is used. Simmer for 30 minutes.
