Golden Apple Bundles - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. chopped and peeled apples
1/3 c. chopped nuts
1/4 c. packed brown sugar
1/4 c. raisins
1 Tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
pastry for double crust pie
milk
sugar
Preparation

In a bowl, combine apples, nuts, brown sugar, raisins, flour, lemon peel and cinnamon; set aside.
Roll pastry to 1/8-inch thickness.
Cut into 5-inch circles.
Spoon about 1/4 cup apple mixture into center of each circle.
Moisten edges of pastry with water.
Fold over and seal edges with a fork.
Place on a greased baking sheet.
Bake at 450\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
Check and bake 10 minutes longer.
Brush each with milk and sprinkle with sugar. Return to oven for 5 minutes.
