Cranberry Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. shortening
    2 medium oranges
    1 c. nuts
    1 c. cranberries
Preparation
    Combine dry ingredients. Set aside. In a cup, put shortening, orange juice and rind (chopped) and fill with boiling water to make 3/4 cup. Stir into dry ingredients. Bake in an ungreased loaf pan at 350\u00b0 for 50 to 55 minutes. May add orange juice to make a thinner batter.
