Sally Lun Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. milk
    12 c. flour
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. butter
    1/2 c. margarine
    4 eggs
    3 pkg. yeast (active dry)
    1/2 c. warm water (105~ to 110~)
Preparation
    Proof yeast with water; set aside 5 minutes.
    Scald milk with sugar and butter mixture.
    Cool to lukewarm.
    Place milk mixture in large mixing bowl, cool lukewarm.
    Add 3 cups flour, salt and yeast mixture.
    Blend until smooth paste.
    Add eggs to make batter.
    Add rest of flour to form dough.
    Knead 8 to 10 minutes until smooth; sit in warm place, covered, at 80\u00b0 to 90\u00b0 until double in size.
    Divide dough in 4 to make large loaves.
    Shape, place in greased loaf pan; allow to rise.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 or 30 minutes.
    While hot, brush with milk and melted butter mixture.
