Four Star Asparagus Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. (1 lb.) sliced asparagus
    2 c. chicken broth (low salt and fat-free is fine)
    3/4 tsp. thyme, divided
    1 bay leaf
    1 crushed garlic clove
    1 Tbsp. flour
    2 c. milk (low-fat is fine)
    dash of nutmeg
    2 tsp. butter
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. grated lemon rind
Preparation
    Bring broth, asparagus, 1/2 teaspoon thyme, garlic and bay leaf to a boil.
    Reduce heat; simmer 10 minutes.
    Remove bay leaf. Process in blender until smooth.
