Cornucopia Stuffing - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. shredded carrot
1 c. chopped celery
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. butter or margarine
1 tsp. rubbed sage
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
8 c. dry bread crumbs
2 c. finely chopped peeled apples
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
1/4 c. wheat germ
1/2 to 3/4 c. chicken broth
Preparation

Saute carrot, celery and onion in butter until tender, but not brown.
Stir in sage, salt, cinnamon and 1/8 teaspoon pepper.
In a large bowl, combine bread cubes, chopped apple, walnuts and wheat germ.
Add cooked vegetable mixture.
Drizzle with enough broth to moisten.
Stuff turkey as usual.
