Sour Cream Coffee Cake - cooking recipe

1 c. butter
2 eggs
2 c. sour cream
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking powder
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar.
Add eggs, vanilla and sour cream. Sift flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt.
Add to creamed mixture and mix well.
Pour half of batter into lightly greased baking pan.
Sprinkle 1/2 of topping over batter.
Pour remaining batter over mixture, then sprinkle on remaining topping.
Take spoon and press topping lightly into batter.
Bake 35 to 40 minutes at 350\u00b0.
