Fruit Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. fruit (use one fruit or 2; try apple and blueberry, peaches with berries, rhubarb and strawberry)
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1 c. flour
    3/4 c. granulated sugar
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 egg, beaten lightly
    1/3 c. melted margarine or butter
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Place fruit in deep oven dish.
    Sprinkle brown sugar over fruit.
    Mix together flour, granulated sugar and baking powder. Mix lightly beaten egg into flour/sugar mixture until lumpy. Sprinkle this mixture over fruit.
    Pour melted margarine or butter over flour/sugar mixture.
    Sprinkle with cinnamon.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes or until top is lightly golden and fruit tender.
    Serve with milk, cream or ice cream.
    Makes 6 servings. Try 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg with rhubarb.
