Carrot Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    3 c. plain flour
    1 tsp. soda
    2 tsp. baking powder
    3 tsp. cinnamon (heaping)
    1/2 Tbsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. Wesson oil
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
    3 eggs
    1 c. crushed pineapple
    2 c. grated carrots
    1 c. chopped nuts (pecans)
Preparation
    Stir together all dry ingredients.
    Then stir in the oil, vanilla and eggs at one time in the same bowl.
    Then add pineapple, carrots and nuts.
    Then use shortening (not oil) to grease two iron skillets and flour over the top of shortening, like you would to bake cakes.
    Divide the cake into the skillets and bake at 325\u00b0 to 350\u00b0, depending on oven, for 30 minutes.
    Test for doneness.
