Stuffed Squash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 medium squash, green or yellow
    1 boiled egg, chopped
    2 Tbsp. chopped onion
    3 strips bacon
    salt
    pepper
    1/2 c. stuffing mix or 1/2 c. bread crumbs or crackers, broken up
Preparation
    Parboil squash in water until barely tender.
    Cool and cut in half lengthwise. Scoop out inside of squash leaving 1/4 inch shell.
    Mix scooped out portion with stuffing, onions, egg, salt and pepper.
    Place back in cavities of squash.
    Place in greased baking dish.
    Top each half with 1/2 strip of bacon.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 until bacon is browned.
