Mixed Tomato Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 pt. red cherry tomatoes
1 pt. yellow pear tomatoes
1 small red onion, finely minced
1 clove garlic, minced
1/4 c. fresh basil, washed and chopped
1/4 c. fresh cilantro, washed and coarsely chopped
1/2 tsp. ground cumin
salt and freshly ground pepper
Preparation

Halve the tomatoes.
In a large bowl, mix the tomato halves with the onion and garlic.
Stir in the basil, cilantro and cumin. Season the mixture with salt and pepper and let stand for at least 15 minutes to let the flavors meld.
Garnish with additional basil sprigs.
Add chunks of mozzarella just before serving for a different variation of the salad.
