Sour Cream Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    2 sticks butter
    6 eggs, separated
    1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream
    2 tsp. almond extract
    2 tsp. vanilla extract
    1/4 tsp. baking soda
    3 c. flour, sifted twice
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar together well.
    Beat in egg yolks until well blended.
    Beat in sour cream and flavorings.
    Sift flour and soda together.
    Beat into butter mixture, 1 cup at a time, until well blended.
    Gently fold in stiffly beaten egg whites.
    Pour into greased and floured 10-inch tube pan.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours, or until done.
