Six-Week Muffin Batter - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. shortening
3 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 qt. buttermilk
5 c. flour
5 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. salt
1 (15 oz.) box Raisin Bran
Preparation

Cream shortening and sugar in a large bowl.
Push this mixture aside and beat the eggs lightly in same bowl.
Mix 1 cup flour into the eggs and add the buttermilk; mix all the batter.
Add the balance of flour (4 cups), soda and salt and mix thoroughly.
Add the Raisin Bran and fold in.
