Norwegian Meatballs And Celery - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 Tbsp. minced onion
2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
2 c. chopped beef
1 c. chopped pork
1 c. chopped veal
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 (13+ oz.) can chicken broth
2 egg whites, beaten
6 Tbsp. butter or margarine
8 c. sliced celery
1 (10 1/2 oz.) can cream of celery soup
Preparation

Cook onion in 2 tablespoons butter until transparent.
In large bowl, mix 1/2 chicken broth, onion, meats, salt, nutmeg and pepper.
Beat egg whites into soft peaks.
Mix lightly into meat mixture.
Shape into 18 balls.
Melt 3 teaspoons butter in heavy skillet, brown 9 meatballs.
Remove.
Add remaining 3 tablespoons butter and remaining meatballs.
Remove.
