Buffet Lasagne - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 clove garlic, crushed
    1 tsp. salt (optional)
    1 1/2 tsp. oregano
    1 tsp. basil
    2 (8 oz. each) cans tomato paste
    2 c. hot water
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. lasagne noodles or 1/2 (1 lb.) box
    1 lb. cottage cheese or Ricotta cheese
    8 oz. Mozzarella cheese
    Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    In skillet, brown beef with onion and garlic.
    Pour off fat. Add salt, oregano, basil, tomato paste and water.
    Simmer, uncovered, for 30 minutes.
