Ingredients

2 c. sugar
4 eggs
2/3 c. Crisco
4 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. allspice
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. chopped pecans
2 c. fresh figs, peeled and mashed
2 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
Preparation

Cream sugar, eggs and Crisco.
Sift flour, salt, soda and spices together.
Add to creamed mixture.
Slowly add figs and nuts.
Bake in well-greased 12 x 9-inch pan and bake at 350\u00b0 until well done.
